PRODUCTION OPERATOR CNC

Trojan Classroom Furniture, Peterborough, ON
$22–$24 an hour - Full-time - 40hrs

This position is geared towards an individual with a minimum 2 years of experience with CNC operation/programming, who is looking to thrive in a manufacturing environment. Our ideal candidate would be a team player, hard working, punctual, able to succeed under pressure, show initiative, and have attention to detail. We are hiring 1 candidate for this role.

Responsibilities 

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Oversee CNC machine operation and make necessary changes to improve results
  • Creating and maintaining new and existing programs
  • Sand and clean objects or parts to correct defects and prepare surfaces for finishing, using various hand and power tools
  • Assemble pieces by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies
  • Maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
  • Prepare, record and sort documents for data entry
  • Other duties as required

Remuneration:
  • 8 hour shift

 Qualifications & Technology skills that you need are:    

  • 2 years of CNC experience (wood)
  • Reliably commute to the office 5 days a week
